ComboFever works from New Plymouth and travels the length of New Zealand. We build themed entertainment floors for adults, and we are deliberately explicit about what that does and does not involve.

Our story
Built out of event floors, not gaming rooms
ComboFever started with a simple observation about company functions: the budget goes on the room, the food and the sound system, and almost nothing on giving people a reason to talk to each other. A themed table solves that better than any icebreaker, provided it is run by someone who can teach a stranger the format in ninety seconds.
So we built the company around hosts first and equipment second. Tables are full-size and finished properly because they photograph well and because guests notice. But the evening succeeds or fails on whether the person running the table can read a room — which is what we recruit and train for.
We work from New Plymouth and travel nationally. Our registered office is 390 Devon Street East, Strandon, New Plymouth 4312, New Zealand.
Principles
Four things we hold to
Adults only, no exceptions
Our tables run at adults-only events. We decline bookings where guests under 20+ have access to the entertainment area.
No client names without permission
We do not publish client logos or identify organisations in case studies unless they have asked us to in writing.
Quote honestly, in writing
We publish no prices because no two evenings are the same. Every quotation is itemised so you can see exactly what you are paying for.
The team
Who you will deal with
We keep the structure flat: the person who plans your evening is usually on site for it.
- Event producers
- Your first contact and your point of contact on the night. They own the floor plan, the run sheet and the supplier conversations.
- Table hosts
- Trained for entertainment floors rather than gaming rooms. Recruited for patience and presence, briefed on your event, uniformed to suit your venue.
- Production crew
- Deliver, assemble, dress, strike and remove. They work before guests arrive and after they leave.
- Branding and production partners
- New Zealand suppliers who print our felt, press our chip faces and build our photo zones. Everything is proofed before production.
